The Cherufe is a creature originating from the myths of the Mapuche and Araucanian people of Chile and Argentina. The Cherufe is thought to inhabit magma pools and active volcanoes, and the body of the Cherufe is thought to be made of the same molten materials. Carolina Parakeet
The Carolina Parakeet is a cryptid classified as a Lazarus Taxon (an animal believed to be extinct but then found alive again). The Carolina Parakeet was first described in 1891 and goes by the scientific name Conuropsis carolinensis. It’s a small bird with green plumage that has sections of yellow and orange. It is the only bird in the parakeet family native to North America and could be found in South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. Due to their tendency to eat fruit, many were killed en mass by farmers. The Beast of Busco is a cryptid from Churubusco Indiana. It is a giant turtle living in Falk Lake. It is four feet wide and weighs between one hundred to five hundred pounds. Beast Of Bodmin Moor/ Beast Of Bolventor
The Beast of Bodmin Moor is a cryptid known as an Alien Big Cat from Cornwall, England. It’s believed to be a leopard-like creature with black fur. It’s often linked to mysteriously killed livestock. Barmanu
The Barmanu is a cryptid from Pakistan. They are hairy hominids whose name means “big hairy one.” They have a terrible smell and makes guttural sounds with a primitive voice box. Arica Monster
The Arica Monster is a creature sighted multiple times in Chile. In one instance, it was sighted in Pampa Acha, Iquique Province, Chile. July 29, 2004 at 9:40 p.m. The witness was an army recruiter named Dario Riquelme along with a man named Hernan Cuevas and his wife, son, and daughter. They were approaching an area called Presencias Tutelares when Riquelme stopped after seeing a humanoid creature crossing the street, and another close behind it. The Alma is a form of hairy hominid which has been sighted along the Caucasus mountains throughout Asia. They largely live in the mountains or the Gobi Desert. They stand 5 to 6 and a half feet tall and are covered in reddish brown curly hair which covers everything except their hands and faces. They have prominent brow ridges and cheekbones, flat noses, and jutting lower jaws without visible chins. The Ahool is a cryptid from Java Indonesia. It flies at night and has a 12-foot wingspan. It has a monkey head, dark grey fur, large dark eyes, and claw tipped wings. It is usually timid and eats fish and small game. It lives behind waterfalls. It is named after the call it makes, which sounds like “Ahool.” It is the size of a one-year-old child. Agogwe
The Agogwe is a cryptid from East Africa. It is a hairy hominid with yellowish-red skin, rust colored hair, and standing roughly four to five feet tall. It is believed to live in remote forested areas. One notable sighting occurred in 1900 by a man named Captain William Hichens. Adam’s Hedgehog Bear
Adam’s Hedgehog Bear is a creature who was sighted in Oregon near Klamath Lake by explorer John “Grizzly” Adams. The creature had the body of a hedgehog with the head and feet of a bear. John Adams and his men attempted to catch the creature but unfortunately failed. Ultimately John Adams and his men were the only ones to sight this creature leading many to believe they made it up.
