This sadly is not an optimistic way of saying a vampire you haven’t killed yet. Instead, it refers to a vampire that, for all intents and purposes, is basically human. Sometimes they are fully human, but sometimes they’re just good at pretending to be human. They are usually are born through actual birth, rather than dying from something stupid.
