El Yunque Eldritch Alien

The El Yunque Eldritch Alien is a creature sighted in Puerto Rico, on October 29, 1973. Nine campers and three adults went to El Yunque Mountain in the hopes of seeing UFOs and aliens. Later in the night, the group found themselves surrounded by vaguely humanoid creatures with long ears and clawed hands. Upon closer inspection, the creatures appeared to have triangle heads and extraordinary eyes. These beings moved rapidly through the brush and blocked the only path the group could use to leave the mountain or reach their vehicles. One of the leaders approached one of the beings and made physical contact with it. At this same time, one of the campers shone a flashlight on them causing the being to panic and rush off into the woods while tearing through the brush and towards a sheer cliff, though it somehow didn’t fall to its death. The creatures continued to stalk the group throughout the night and into the morning. One camper attempted to knock themselves out with a flashlight to escape the situation. Another camper strangely wanted to walk off into the woods, and another accompanied them. Shortly after walking away, they found a shining multicolored egg on the ground, but neither wanted to touch it. Later, a being was seen holding the egg, leading them to think it was used to lure the campers into a trap. At sunrise the creatures were gone, leaving behind only large and deep footprints, which the group made plaster casts of.
