Murung River Bear
The Murung River Bear is a rare cryptid from Borneo, Indonesia, reported near the Kedang Murung River. They were sighted as recently as the 1930s and described by natives to explorer Leonard Clark. They’re bear-like creatures that gather along the river by the thousands to feed on berries that bloom there annually. They’re strong swimmers but otherwise live in the jungle. They have been known to attack boats and claw humans to death.
